Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club

Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club is, by most measures, Boca Raton's most exclusive address—and its oldest, founded in 1959. Spread across roughly 450 acres in East Boca on the west side of the Intracoastal, just south of The Boca Raton resort, it is the only major Boca country-club community that pairs deep-water yachting with private golf. Forbes has repeatedly ranked it among the most expensive gated communities in the country.

Its roughly 680 estates include Intracoastal-front and deep-water-canal homes with private dockage and direct ocean access through the Boca Inlet—no fixed bridges—alongside golf-course and interior lots. The private, nomination-only club offers a full-service marina accommodating yachts up to about 120 feet, a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, tennis and croquet, a fitness center and spa, and five-star dining. Homes here range from roughly $2 million to north of $30 million.

Royal Palm's estates span Mediterranean-inspired and modern coastal architecture, many on lots combined for compound-scale privacy. Waterfront homes on the deep-water canals are the community's highest tier, prized for the ability to dock a large yacht steps from the door with open-water access and no fixed bridges; golf-course and interior estates offer the same prestige at a different price point.

Membership is private and by nomination from two existing members—and not required to own a home. The club's full-service marina, rare among inland communities, accommodates yachts up to roughly 120 feet, while the Jack Nicklaus Signature course, clay tennis and croquet courts, fitness center, spa, and five-star dining round out an exceptional amenity set. Guarded entrances provide 24/7 security.
